Elrazi College students and their role in servicing the community
Within the college framework of academic and technical development, it also takes a great interest for the benefit of the community and the participation in building it. It also takes a great interest in effectively contributing in laying the foundation of solidarity and assistance among its members.
Activates done by the students Club:
The “ I am the Sudan Club” in the Elrazi college visited “Almayagoma children” in the occasion of Orphan Day and gave a small token of support represented by baby milk and other essentials.
They have spent the whole day there presenting the children with different educational and entertainment sessions.
The college student have participated in the national blood donation campaign, which are organized in various universities and institutes contributing in the spreading the culture of voluntary blood donations. The campaign had the following slogan” Your blood can be replaced life is not”. The campaign was held form Sunday May 25th tell Tuesday May 27th 2009.
The students of the medical program ( level 1) have established “Basmat Amal” association to help cancer patients as it is a branch for the mother association “Tadaie” which cares to injured including the elderly. The association has presented educational lectures about cancer and its risks in the college premises; the speaker was Dr. Ali Al-Baqir.
In collaboration with the department of ADIS control in the health state ministry a training course was held in the college premises for 30 students during the period of 18 – 20 April. The courses contained sessions ADIS, how to avoid it and ways to fight it. The opening ceremony was honored by having professor Farouk Mohammad Al Amin The secretary of scientific affairs, professor Abd Allah Ahmad Dafa Allah, the coordinator of the Medicine program and Dr. Emtial Ahmad Ibrahim. At the end of the course, Professor Farouk Mohammad Al Amin and professor Abd Allah Ahmad Dafa Allah gave certificates to the trainees.
